Hengeler Mueller advises Talanx AG on IPO

Talanx AG has successfully completed its IPO with today's initial listing of the shares on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.

The Talanx IPO is the largest in Germany since March 2010, with a gross issue volume of more than EUR 500 m. In addition, the strategic partner Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance is, as previously announced, converting a EUR 300 m subordinated bond held since November 2010 into shares of Talanx AG at the placement price.

Hengeler Mueller advises Talanx in an integrated team together with law firm Simpson Thacher who advises on the US private placement.
