Hengeler Mueller advises RWE AG on the start of RWE Generation SE RWE AG pooled its generation activities of coal, nuclear, water and gas power as well as biomass in Germany, the Netherlands and UK within RWE Generation SE as of 1 January 2013. The company in form of a European corporation (Societas Europaea, SE) is based in Essen and manages a power generation capacity of around 50,000 MW at more than 50 sites across Western Europe and has some 18,000 employees.
