Hengeler Mueller advises KPS on acquisition of Bosch Foundation Brakes

KPS Capital Partners, LP, a leading, global private equity fund manager headquartered in New York (USA), announced on 10 January 2012, that it has entered into definitive agreements to acquire The Bosch Group’s automotive foundation brakes business through a newly-formed affiliate. The transaction is subject to approval of antitrust authorities. Bosch Foundation Brakes includes products such as brake callipers, disk brakes, drum brakes and parking brakes generating EUR 850 m p.a. in total sales volume and incorporating twenty locations in Europe, Asia and South America.
