Hengeler Mueller advises freenet on sale of STRATO

freenet AG today announced the signing of an agreement to sell all shares in STRATO AG and STRATO Rechenzentrum AG to Deutsche Telekom AG. Subject to normal adjustments, the purchase price amounts to € 275 million. The closing of the transaction is, in particular, subject to receipt of clearance from the German Federal Cartel Office.

The Hengeler Mueller team included partners Stefan Richter (M&A/Corporate), Albrecht Conrad (M&A/TMT, both Berlin) and Alf-Henrik Bischke (Competition, Brussels) as well as associates Moritz Gröning, Fabian Seip (both Berlin), Matthias Scheifele (Frankfurt), Stephan Rudolph (Brussels), Stefan Schäfers (Berlin) and Steffen Lieske (Frankfurt).

Back in 2005, Hengeler Mueller had advised freenet AG on the acquisition of STRATO.
