Hengeler Mueller advises freenet AG on acquisition of Media Broadcast Group

mobilcom-debitel GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of freenet AG, signed an agreement to acquire Media Broadcast Group on 3 March 2016. Media Broadcast Group GmbH is the principal operating company of the group. Media Broadcast’s Satellite business unit is not included in the acquisition. The closing of the transaction is subject to the usual approval by the antitrust authorities and is expected by April 2016 at the latest.
