Hengeler Mueller advises Demag Holding on sale of mannesmann plastics machinery

Demag Holding S.à.r.l., in which KKR has a 81 per cent stake and Siemens a 19 per cent stake, has signed an agreement to sell mannesmann plastics machinery group to its management and strategic investors represented by Madison Capital Partners. mannesmann plastics machinery recorded sales of € 1.3 bn last year.

Demag Holding S.à.r.l. was advised by Hengeler Mueller on this “secondary buy-out”. Advice was provided by partners Jochen Vetter (Corporate/M&A) and Alf-Henrik Bischke (Competition) in addition to associates Alexander Kessler, Philipp von Hülsen, Christoph Weber (all M&A) and Nicolas Kredel (Competition).

mannesmann plastics machinery group, together with six other companies, had been acquired from Siemens in 2002 by Demag Holding. Hengeler Mueller also advised Demag Holding on this transaction.
