Hengeler Mueller advises Bayer on sale of worldwide Diagnostics Business

Bayer AG, Leverkusen, has sold its world-wide Diagnostics Business to Siemens AG. The purchase price amounts to EUR 4.2 billion. Completion of the transaction remains subject to regulatory approval.

The Diagnostics Business is headquartered in Tarrytown/USA and comprises participations and assets in more than 40 countries.

Hengeler Mueller has advised Bayer AG on the transaction and has co-ordinated the work of attorneys world-wide in the jurisdictions concerned.
