Matthias advises and represents companies and business associations, predominantly from the technology, IT, transportation, communication and media sectors on important contracts, transactions and court disputes.
His practice includes M&A transactions with a technology focus, complex infrastructure digitization, outsourcing and joint venture projects, advice on internet, data and media regulation, drafting and negotiation of complex contracts as well as IP/IT issues in the context of insolvency and restructuring.
Matthias also represents clients in litigation, most often in IP/IT related disputes and collective licensing. He has extensive experience in all aspects of intellectual property, copyright and information technology law, including IT security, data protection, e-commerce and new topics like data economy and artificial intelligence.
He is the author of a number of publications on intellectual property and insolvency law.
