Benedikt specialises in M&A transactions. He advises (public and private) companies, private equity funds and other financial sponsors on national and cross-border acquisitions and divestments, public takeovers and strategic partnerships, often in the IT and software industries.

In the area of private equity, Benedikt's most recent activities include advising Waterland on the sale of Skaylink to Vodafone and the partnership with Netconomy, PSG Equity on the investment in Checkmk, and Five Arrows (Rotschild private equity) on the acquisition of Totalmobile and a stake in Solvares.

Furthermore, he advised, among others, Deutsche Börse (public takeover of Danish SimCorp combination of Qontigo and ISS and creation of the new investment management solutions segment ISS Stoxx), Johnson & Johnson (acquisition of several assets in the MedTech sector) and Schneider Electric on strategic M&A transactions.

Benedikt also advises companies on corporate law topics. He has a particular focus on the preparation of shareholders' meetings, capital and other corporate matters as well as reorganisations.
