Arvid Morawe

Arvid is a restructuring partner and advises clients in special situations. He specialises in complex cross-border financial restructurings and restructuring proceedings in an international context. This includes StaRUG proceedings as well as UK Restructuring Plans and US Chapter 11 proceedings. He advises a broad range of clients — from listed companies, growth companies and private equity portfolio companies to sponsors, financial creditors and investors. On the creditor side, he advises in particular asset managers, private credit funds and hedge funds in advancing their interests.

• Ad hoc groups of creditors in connection with the restructuring of
  • Adler Group S.A. with a volume of EUR 3.2 billion by way of a UK Restructuring Plan, including the provision of approximately EUR 1 billion in additional liquidity and the subsequent amendment of bond terms under the German Bond Act (Schuldverschreibungsgesetz)
  • Klöckner Pentaplast through US Chapter 11 proceedings with a volume of EUR 2.8 billion
  • Demire AG under the German Bond Act (Schuldverschreibungsgesetz)
  • First Brands Group in the context of US Chapter 11 proceedings with indebtedness of approximately USD 11.5 billion
• Prax Ltd. on the stabilisation following the insolvency of its parent company (UK administration) and the sale of the European fuel retail business
• KKR on the restructuring of Accell Group with a volume of EUR 1.3 billion via a UK Scheme of Arrangement
• KKR on the structuring of the acquisition of a real estate portfolio from Adler Group
• Grover on a financial restructuring by way of StaRUG proceedings
• Lufthansa on the approximately EUR 9 billion stabilisation measures by KfW and the Economic Stabilisation Fund (Wirtschaftsstabilisierungsfonds)
