Hengeler Mueller advisese Eaton on acquisition of Möller

Eaton Corporation, a Fortune 500 company based in Cleveland (Ohio), has signed a purchase agreement to acquire the Moeller Group headquartered in Bonn. The purchase price amounts to € 1.55 billion. The seller is an investor group led by Doughty Hanson.

Moeller Group is one of the leading global suppliers of components and systems for power distribution and automation for industry, for infrastructure-related as well as for residential buildings. Eaton Corporation is a diversified global industrial company with leading positions in the business segments electronics, automotive, utility vehicles and hydraulics.

Hengeler Mueller advised Eaton Corporation on this transaction.
