Hengeler Mueller advises MP Beteiligungs-GmbH on sale of interest in MOBOTIX

MP Beteiligungs-GmbH, Kaiserslautern, sold its 10% interest in MOBOTIX AG to Konica Minolta. In the course of the transaction Konica Minolata purchased additional 50% from MOBOTIX founder and major shareholder Ralf Hinkel and 65% in total of the shares of MOBOTIX.

Mobotix AG is a producer of video surveillance equipment and the belonging software. It distributes its products in 80 countries worldwide. The shares of the company are listed at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (Entry Standard).

Hengeler Mueller advised MP Beteiligungs-GmbH on the transaction. The Hengeler Mueller team included partners Peter Weyland and Daniela Favoccia as well as associate Annika Clauss (all M&A, Frankfurt). Hengeler Mueller had already advised MP Beteiligungs-GmbH on the IPO of BRAIN AG this year.
