Hengeler Mueller advises Metalsa on sale of Witten Plant

Metalsa SA de CV, Mexico, (“Metalsa”), a leading automotive supplier with worldwide activities, has sold its Witten plant (hinges and transmission) to a buyer which will be active under the corporate name of High Precision Components Witten GmbH. The buyer is backed by the owner of Schmiedetechnik Plettenberg GmbH & Co. KG.

Hengeler Mueller advised Metalsa on the transaction. The Hengeler Mueller team included partners Joachim Rosengarten (M&A), Hendrik Bockenheimer (Labour) and Martin Klein (Tax) (all Frankfurt) as well as associates Christian Folter (M&A), Peter Wehner (Labour) and Britta Süßmann (Tax) (all Frankfurt). Hengeler Mueller had already advised Metalsa on the acquisition of the German activities in 2013.
