Hengeler advises on sale of Demag Ergotech

The KraussMaffei Group, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of machinery for processing plastics, has sold all its shares in Demag Ergotech GmbH, a manufacturer of engineering injection moulding machines, to Sumitomo Heavy Industries Ltd. (Japan).

Hengeler Mueller advised the KraussMaffei Group on this transaction. The Hengeler Mueller team included partners Achim Herfs (M&A, Munich) and Martin Klein (Tax, Frankfurt) in addition to associates Daniel Müller-Etienne (Frankfurt) and Catharina Berger (Munich).
