Hengeler Mueller advises Schön Klinik on equity investment by an investor

Schön Klinik SE, one of the leading clinic operators in Germany, agreed with a financial partner to become a minority shareholder in the company. With this decision, Schön Klinik confirms its ambitions to continue its sustainable and profitable growth. The management under the leadership of Dieter Schön, managing director and CEO, remains unchanged. Details on the purchase price and the size of the shareholding were not disclosed. Upon receiving the necessary antitrust approvals, the transaction is expected to be closed in fall 2016.
