Thomas specializes in corporate as well as capital markets law and dispute resolution.
His corporate practice comprises primarily corporate governance matters, corporate reorganizations and equity financing. He has a strong corporate client base, especially in the insurance and automotive sectors.
In dispute resolution, a recent focus of his work has been to advise and represent clients in cartel damage lawsuits before German and European courts, where he currently acts as counsel in a number of pending high stakes cases across a broad range of sectors – from consumer goods and TV ads to chemicals and air cargo. Thomas also advises on D&O liability issues.
With a formal background in both economics and law, Thomas always has a strong focus on the crucial economic parameters of a case. In disputes and settlement negotiations, he can rely on extensive experience using relevant economics-based evidence.
