Christian advises companies comprehensively on matters relating to investment and banking regulatory law, payment services and securities regulation.

In banking regulatory law, Christian advises credit institutions, investment firms and other financial market participants as well as non-financial enterprises. A particular focus of his work is advising companies on innovative technologies in the financial sector (FinTech).

In investment law, Christian advises investment management companies, depositaries, asset managers as well as investors. His mandates include licensing proceedings, outsourcing transactions in the asset management sector, the structuring and marketing of investment products as well as regulatory advice on M&A and other transactions in the asset management industry.

In payments, Christian advises on regulatory requirements applicable to PSP, including on AML/CFT as well as on payment systems.

In securities regulation, Christian primarily advises asset management and banking clients on matters relating to securities and derivatives trading as well as custody business.
