Hengeler Mueller advises Capvis on acquisition of "Wer liefert was"

Swiss private equity company Capvis Equity Partners ("Capvis") today announced the acquisition of Europe’s leading B2B marketplace "Wer liefert was" from the previous majority shareholders Paragon Partners and Nordic Mezzanine. The acquisition aims at further expanding the product range as well as the international reach of the company. The management of "Wer liefert was" will continue to hold shares in the group. The transaction is subject to antitrust approvals and other customary conditions. The parties agreed to treat the purchase price confidential.  

"Wer liefert was", an online platform for professional purchases providing access to millions of products and services in the B2B segment, is headquartered in Hamburg with a workforce of 200 employees. The company was founded in 1932 and was the first supplier to publish printed reference books for commercial buyers. "Wer liefert was" offers its services exclusively online since 1995. Paragon Partners and Nordic Mezzanine had acquired the company in 2012.
