Hengeler Mueller advises Stirling Square on sale of ESE

Stirling Square Capital Partners ("Stirling Square"), a leading pan-European mid-market private equity firm, announced on 14 December 2016 that it has signed an agreement to sell the ESE Group ("ESE"), a leading European temporary waste storage solutions provider, to RPC Group Plc ("RPC") for a consideration of EUR 262.5 m. 

ESE services a broad customer base ranging from local municipalities to private waste service providers. The company is headquartered in Maastricht (The Netherlands). Its manufacturing footprint comprises two facilities in Germany and France and one R&D centre in Germany employing approximately 600 people (on full-time equivalent basis). ESE will be an independent business unit within RPC going forward.

Hengeler Mueller is advising Stirling Square on the transaction.
