Hengeler Mueller advises EQT on sale of SAG group to SPIE S.A.

EQT has entered into an agreement on 23 December 2016 to sell SAG Vermögensverwaltung GmbH ("SAG") to SPIE S.A., valuing SAG at EUR 850 m. SAG provides project management, engineering, installation and maintenance services to the energy infrastructure sector with a focus on power and gas transmission / distribution. SAG has sales of over EUR 1,32 m and more than 8,100 employees across Europe. The agreement is subject to customary anti-trust clearances and the transaction is expected to close at the end of the first or the beginning of the second quarter 2017.
