Hengeler Mueller advises Knorr-Bremse on acquisition of R.H. Sheppard

Knorr-Bremse, a leading supplier of braking systems and other rail and commercial vehicle subsystems, signed an agreement to acquire R.H. Sheppard Co., Inc., Hanover, USA. The company is one of the leading manufacturers of steering systems for commercial vehicles on the North American market. The closing of the transaction is subject to closing conditions and regulatory approvals.

Hengeler Mueller advises Knorr-Bremse on the transaction and related antitrust aspects in an integrated team with US firm Cravath Swaine & Moore (partners Aaron Gruber, M&A, and Christine Varney, Antitrust). The Hengeler Mueller team includes partners Hans-Jörg Ziegenhain, Daniel Möritz (both M&A, Munich) and Markus Röhrig (Antitrust, Brussels) as well as associates Daniel Blagojevic (M&A, Munich), Malcolm Tiffin-Richards and Christoph Wilken (both Antitrust, Brussels).
