Hengeler Mueller advises Diagnostica Stago on acquisition of Trinity Biotech’s coagulation business

Diagnostica Stago, the French-based manufacturer and distributor of medical diagnostic products, has reached an agreement with the Irish company Trinity Biotech on the acquisition of its coagulation business.

Hengeler Mueller advised Diagnostica Stago on this transaction on all German law aspects. The Hengeler Mueller team was led by partner Albrecht Conrad (M&A, Berlin) and included partners Christian Hoefs (Labour, Frankfurt) and Hermann-Josef Tries (Tax, Frankfurt) as well as associates Jens Wenzel (M&A), Jan D. Bonhage (Public Law), Fabian Seip (IP), Christian Häußer and Anne Isabell Krämer (both Labour).

Hengeler Mueller worked on this transaction in an Integrated Team with Bredin Prat (France) as well as with the New York law firm Cravath Swaine & Moore and the Irish law firm Matheson Ormsby Prentice, which respectively provided advice on US and Irish law aspects.
