Hengeler Mueller advises Fraport AG on EUR 800m issue of two bonds

The international airport operator Fraport AG has successfully placed two Eurobonds with a total volume of EUR 800 million on the capital market. The emission comprises a EUR 300 million bond with a maturity date of 9 July 2024 and a fixed coupon of 1.625 % p.a. as well as a EUR 500 million bond with a maturity date of 9 July 2027 and a fixed coupon of 2.125 % p.a. Both bonds are listed on the regulated market of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange. Joint bookrunners were Deutsche Bank, Helaba, HSBC and UniCredit Bank.

Hengeler Mueller advised Fraport AG on the transaction. The team included partner Hendrik Haag as well as associates Rudolf Mehl and Dominik Stolz (all Capital Markets, Frankfurt).
