Hengeler Mueller advises Leoni on Schuldschein loans amounting to more than EUR 300 million

Leoni AG has successfully placed Schuldschein loans (Schuldscheindarlehen) in the aggregate amount of EUR 331 million with terms of five to ten years. Leoni had planned to issue Schuldschein loans in the amount of EUR 200 million. As the order was significantly oversubscribed by more than 50 investors, the Company was able to generate a volume of EUR 331 million.

Hengeler Mueller has advised Leoni on this transaction. The team included partner Ralph Defren as well as associate Caspar Schmelzer (all Banking/Capital Markets, Frankfurt). Partner Ralph Defren has already advised Leoni AG on its debut EUR 750m syndicated loan earlier this year.
