Hengeler Mueller advises Waelzholz on acquisition of Cold-rolled Low Carbon Steel Strips Business from Wickeder Westfalenstahl

Waelzholz Group and Wickeder Westfalenstahl GmbH have concluded an agreement on the acquisition of Wickeder’s Cold-rolled Low Carbon Steel Strips Business by Waelzholz. The mid-sized company Waelzholz based in Hagen, Germany, is a leading producer of cold-rolled low carbon and tempered steel strips and profiles and has more than 1,900 employees worldwide. Waelzholz primarily serves customers from the automotive industry and the energy and industrial sector. Wickeder Group is a leading worldwide supplier of clad materials and thermobimetals. The acquisition is subject to approval by the anti-trust authorities.
