Hengeler Mueller advises ATS on acquisition of Sortimat

ATS Automation Tooling Systems, Inc., a listed company on the stock exchange in Toronto, Canada, which has global operations predominantly in the fields of automation systems and solar technology and manufacturing facilities in North America, Asia and Europe, has concluded an agreement on acquiring the Sortimat Group based in Winnenden, Baden-Württemberg (Germany). Sortimat is an internationally active manufacturer of assembly systems for the medicine technology and pharmaceutical industry and of feeder systems for the machine industry, with subsidiaries in the US and India.
