Hengeler Mueller advises SANYO on sale of global semiconductor business

Japan’s SANYO Electric Co., Ltd. (Osaka) has sold its global semiconductor business to the US company ON Semiconductor Corporation, Phoenix (Arizona). The transaction is subject to various closing conditions and regulatory approvals, such as clearance by merger control authorities.

Hengeler Mueller has advised SANYO Electric Co., Ltd. on this transaction. The Hengeler Mueller team included partners Thomas Meurer and Christian Möller (both Corporate/M&A) as well as associates Sven Greulich, Holger Kleinhenz and Sebastian von Thunen (all Düsseldorf).
