Hengeler Mueller advises FINCA International Inc. pro bono on establishing a German branch

FINCA International Inc. (FINCA) has established a German branch of FINCA Network Support B.V., a Dutch subsidiary with offices in Germany, Georgia, Guatemala, Uganda and Tanzania. FINCA Network Support B.V. provides operational support services to FINCA subsidiaries worldwide.

FINCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing financial services to the world's lowest-income entrepreneurs so they can create jobs, build assets and improve living standards. With headquarters in Washington, D.C., FINCA owns and manages 22 subsidiaries in Latin America and the Caribbean, Africa, Eurasia, and the Middle East and South Asia. FINCA is a global leader in the microfinance industry, having pioneered the village banking methodology of microcredit in the mid-1980s. FINCA currently serves more than one million clients through a broad array of financial services, and employs more than 10,000 people, worldwide.
