Hengeler Mueller advises LEG NRW on acquisition of GAGFAH residential units

A subsidiary of LEG NRW GmbH has concluded an agreement with GAGFAH Group for the acquisition of 1,244 GAGFAH residential units. The acquisition comprises residential units in Bocholt in the District of Borken (western Münsterland). The housing stock managed by LEG Group will thus increase to a total of over 91,000 residential units – almost entirely in North Rhine-Westphalia – after completion of the acquisition.

LEG NRW GmbH is a real estate company in North Rhine-Westphalia. It was privatised in September 2008 and is owned by Whitehall Real Estate Funds and other funds managed by Goldman Sachs. GAGFAH Group is the largest residential property company listed in Germany.
