Hengeler Mueller advises Industri Kapital on acquisition of Minimax

The European private equity firm Industri Kapital has signed an agreement with Investcorp to acquire Minimax, a leading European full-service provider of fire protection systems and services.

Industri Kapital was advised by Hengeler Mueller within the framework of this “tertiary buy-out”. Advice was provided by partners Stefan Richter (Lead Partner, M&A/Management Participation), Birgit Spiesshofer (Regulatory) and Wolfgang Kellenter (IP/IT) in addition to associates Christina Helena Villafrade, Jan D. Bonhage, Martin Hollands, Jens Kuhlmann, Simon Härle, Rudolf Rayle, Andrea Schlaffge, Arne Lambrecht and Heiko Wingenfeld.

In the last few years, Hengeler Mueller has provided advice to Industri Kapital on several transactions. Since 2002, the firm has advised on the acquisition of Gardena, of Pfaff Haushaltsnähmaschinen as well as on the acquisition of Dywidag Systems International.
