Hengeler Mueller advises Siemens on equity linked bonds with warrants totalling USD 3 bn

Hengeler Mueller advises Siemens on its issuance of USD denominated bonds with warrants. To the bonds issued by Siemens Financieringsmaatschappij N.V. and guaranteed by Siemens AG warrants issued by Siemens AG are attached. The warrants entitle to acquire several Siemens shares against payment of a strike price denominated in Euro. The bonds have been placed in two tranches with maturities of five and a half and seven and a half years. It is one of the largest equity-linked bond issue of the past years in Germany.
