Hengeler Mueller advises on transfer of international banking portfolios from Hypothekenbank Frankfurt with a volume of EUR 50 bn

Hypothekenbank Frankfurt AG continued the portfolio transfers the bank had started in 2012. For this purpose portfolios were spun off with a following accretion onto Commerzbank AG. The transferred portfolios are linked to over 25 jurisdictions. In the future Hypothekenbank Frankfurt AG will be acting as service provider.

Hengeler Mueller advised Commerzbank AG and Hypothekenbank Frankfurt AG on the transaction.
