Hengeler Mueller advises Deutsche Bank on takeover of hybris AG by SAP

SAP, the world’s leading provider of business software and hybris AG, a recognized leader in e-commerce platform technology with headquarters in Zug, Switzerland, have announced an agreement regarding the acquisition of hybris AG by SAP AG.

SAP will finance the acquisition from liquid funds and a syndicated loan made available by Deutsche Bank AG. The transaction is expected to close upon receipt of clearance from the competent antitrust authorities and fulfillment of further customary closing conditions during the third quarter of 2013.
