Hengeler Mueller advises Waterland on clinic acquisition and merger of RHM and MEDIAN Group

RHM Klinikgruppe (“RHM”) held by the Dutch private equity company Waterland Private Equity (“Waterland“) announced that it has signed agreements to acquire Parkklinik Bad Rothenfelde, including the MBOR Kompetenzzentrum Bad Rothenfelde, and Gesundheitszentrum Hannover.

In addition, Waterland combines RHM with MEDIAN Group which is also held by Waterland. Based in Deidesheim, RHM provides rehabilitation, care and specialized acute care services as well as complementary day-care and outpatient treatment services in 22 clinics and care centers with 2,400 treatment and care places. MEDIAN Group, headquartered in Berlin, is the market leader in the field of post-acute and rehabilitation medicine among the private operators in Germany with around 7,500 employees. MEDIAN Group operates 45 facilities with more than 9,000 beds throughout Germany.
