Hengeler Mueller advises Orpéa Group on the acquisition of Celenus Kliniken from Auctus

Orpéa Group has announced the acquisition of Celenus Group, founded in 2010, from private equity firm Auctus.

Orpéa is a leading European operator of nursing homes. The Group was founded in 1989 and is listed on the Euronext in Paris. The group now comprises 615 facilities with more than 60,936 beds throughout Europe, 46% of which are located outside France.

Celenus ist a leading private operator of post-acute care rehabilitation and psychiatric facilities. The group comprises 2,602 beds in 15 clinics as well as one day care centre.

Hengeler Mueller advised Orpéa on this transaction in an integrated team with best friends law firm Bredin Prat and Wendelstein LLP.
