Christian advises national and international corporate clients as well as investors on all individual and collective aspects of employment law. His practice includes ongoing employment law advice as well as advice on M&A transactions and reorganisations. Christian regularly leads negotiations with unions and works councils on behalf of his clients. He also represents them in conciliation board proceedings and employment litigation. Other key areas of his practice consist of providing advice on employment-related compliance matters and compensation systems.

Among the M&A transactions and reorganizations that Christian most recently advised on employment law are the advice to Cerberus when acquiring the HSH Nordbank, GE when acquiring Concept Laser and taking over SLM, Onex when selling the KraussMaffei Group as well as the advice to IBM group, MVV Energie, the Standard Life insurance and the JCDecaux group on different reorganizational measures.

For BA Glass Germany, GHP, IBM, MVV Energie, BorgWarner, and Deutsche Bank, Christian recently led negotiations with unions and works councils. Lately, he also represented Robert Bosch, Morgan Stanley, Lazard and State Street in various reemployment-related court cases. Additionally, he advised several major financial institutions concerning compensation systems and a large media company regarding its employment-related compliance matters.
