Alexander has a broad practice focussing on capital markets, banking and regulatory issues, including bank supervision and securities regulation. 

He particularly advises companies and banks in a wide variety of capital markets transactions. This covers IPOs, capital increases requiring a prospectus and private placements. In addition, he advises corporate clients, banks and funds on syndicated loans and other financings.

On banking and regulatory issues, Alexander advises domestic and foreign banks and financial services institutions as well as asset managers on matters relating to investment and banking regulatory law, payment services and securities regulation. A particular focus of his work is advice related to innovative financial technologies (FinTech).
