Bianka provides legal advice to banks and corporates on capital market transactions in connection with the issuance of debt securities. This includes the establishment and annual update of debt issuance programmes (so-called EMTN or DIP), as well as advising on drawdowns under DIPs and the issuance of debt securities on a stand-alone basis.

Bianka acts either for underwriting banks or directly for issuers of debt securities. She has been involved in a broad range of transactions from 'plain vanilla' debt securities to hybrid bonds of corporates, subordinated notes of insurance companies and AT1-instruments of banks. In addition, her practice covers cash or exchange tender offers and commercial paper programmes.

Recently, Bianka has been involved in a number of hybrid bond transactions, including those by Bertelsmann SE&Co KGaA, RWE Aktiengesellschaft, Deutsche Lufthansa Aktiengesellschaft (all in 2015) and Württembergische Lebensversicherung AG (2014). She frequently advises underwriting banks regarding the debt issuance programme of KfW, as well as German law governed Global Notes by KfW under their SEC-Shelf. Among the debt issuance programmes of German corporates that Bianka advises on are: BASF SE, Linde Aktiengesellschaft and HeidelbergCement AG.
