Christian has developed a broad corporate practice with a client base ranging from listed companies to family-owned enterprises.
His previous M&A transactions for listed companies include: the sale of Bayer's diabetes care business to Panasonic Healthcare by way of a worldwide asset deal (2015/2016), the sale of the stainless steel business of ThyssenKrupp to Outokumpu (2012), the buyback of AST/VDM by ThyssenKrupp (2013/2014), the sale of options on Volkswagen shares by Porsche to Qatar (2009), and Volkswagen's participation in Porsche (2009/2010). Other corporate matters for listed companies include the reorganization of the production activities of E.ON (2013), the preparation of the spin-off of ThyssenKrupp’s stainless steel business (2011) and the transformation of Henkel KGaA into an AG & Co. KGaA (2008).
In addition to listed companies, Christian has advised numerous family-owned enterprises, entrepreneurial families, as well as family offices on a broad range of corporate matters, including domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, corporate reorganisations, corporate governance, succession and estate planning, and shareholder disputes.
