International Practice

Another reason why it is attractive to work with us is that we are involved on a daily basis with foreign partner colleagues and international matters. We work to an increasing degree in Integrated Teams with partners in Europe and the US (International Approach — International Competence). It is absolutely necessary to have a solid knowledge of English, including legal terminology, and a basic understanding of the Anglo-American legal system. Almost all of our partners have studied or worked for an extended period of time in the US or UK.

Not all of our associates have such experience when they start their careers. Therefore, after about three years we give them the opportunity to work for about one year in our London office, at partner firms or with clients in the US or UK; this time does not count towards partnership, but it is invariably a valuable experience.
